Shaune McCarthy (raised in Athens, Ohio) is a New Hampshire based, contemporary American artist. Her practice spans 40+ years and includes works in acrylic painting, ceramic sculpture, printmaking and photograms. Her ceramic figures and her acrylic paintings have been shown widely in New England and are held in many collections. She is known for her spontaneous paintings, thick textures, linear designs and bold color.
